香川在住の染織家安達聖子さんの織りと染め、ホームスパンの作品展です。
シルクオーガンジー、麻、ウール素材をモノトーンでシックに、また、華やかに色彩豊かに染め上げた手染め、手織りの美しいストールや膝掛け等をご紹介します。
特に安達さんの作品で人気のシルクオーガンジーはシルクの滑らかな光沢、波打つ布の表情が装う人を色彩で軽やかに包み込みます。安達さんは身体にまとった時の布の流れを読み、ラインや色彩の流れを、染め、筆使いで表現します。
そして今展では、作家自ら原毛から紡ぎ、糸から織り上げたホームスパン作品も展示します。

This exhibition is featuring new original stoles in silk organdy by Seiko Adachi. Seiko Adachi lives and works in Kagawa. Adachi treats silk organdy fabric as her canvas in expressing her creativity in colors and lines.Each stole is unique and original, and one-of-a-kind for the wearer to enjoy as a wearable art. We are also featuring her collection of homespun throws and stoles for this winter season. It's true luxury for you to touch and feel natural color and texture carefully treated and handled by a sheep-lover artist.
