梅雨の季節、風景写真家 越谷喜隆氏の個展を開催します。広告写真家として40年余のキャリアを経て、彼は風景に身を投じ、その視線を世界の広がりへと向けてきました。
越谷氏が向き合うのは、出会いの瞬間に響く自然そのものです。どこか名もなき風景が彼を呼び寄せ、そこには空や雲、海や森、刻々と変わる光の気配があります。
「生まれ変わったら庭師になりたい」と話し、撮影の合間には自邸の庭で草花に語りかけるように、“小さな命”の気配に耳を澄ませます。そのささやかな“対話”が、彼の写真を生み出す根源です。本展では、今春イタリア写真誌「GLOBUS」に特集掲載された全作品を展示予定です。
During the rainy season, SMP GALLERY presents a solo exhibition by landscape photographer Yositaka Koshiya.
After a long career in advertising photography, Koshiya turned his gaze toward quiet, unnamed landscapes shaped by sky, sea, forest, clouds, and light. Listening closely to the small voices of nature, he captures moments of gentle dialogue with the living world. This exhibition features the complete series recently highlighted in the Italian photography magazine “GLOBUS.”
