SMP GALLERYにて松尾栄太郎 初個展を開催します。
佐賀県唐津「七山」は、栄太郎さんが28年暮らした京都から拠点を移した創作の場。山間部での自然との共生、地域住民と交流し、家族との日常の機微、日々を紡ぐ。創作の源は暮らしの中に根ざし、内なる少年の持つ純粋な感受性に在る。
妄想と現実、心象風景は、培った平面(版画)、立体(彫刻)の技法で可視化される。栄太郎さんは「生と死」、人生で対峙する「矛盾」を制作のテーマに抱えるが、代表作「HAZAMA」作品には懐かしさ、清々しい芸術性を感じる。
"Nanayama" in the Karatsu mountains of Saga Prefecture is the place where Eitaro moved his studio from Kyoto, where he lived for 28 years. He lives in harmony with nature, interacts with local residents, and weaves the subtleties of daily life with his family. The source of Eitaro's creativity is rooted in his daily life and the pure sensitivity of his inner boy. His fantasies, realities, and mental landscapes are visualized with the two-dimensional (prints) and three-dimensional (sculptures) techniques he has cultivated. Eitaro's themes are “life and death” and the ‘contradictions’ he faces in life, but his representative work, “HAZAMA,” is filled with a sense of nostalgia and refreshing artistry.
