『GLASS ART PANEL』by Chunichi Stained Art x SMP
日本の建築、内装デザインにおいてアートグラスの分野を牽引し、唯一無二の商品を作り出す装飾ガラス制作工房『中日ステンドアート』。
その製品の芸術性の高さと共に、工業生産に求められる規格・耐性・均一性などをクリアーする技術力とバランスに優れたモノ作りに定評があります。
今作品は、透明なガラス素材の中に銀箔を用いた装飾ガラスの華やかでいて、力強い存在感に魅せられデザインしました。制作は、銀箔を封じ込めたガラスを電気炉の中で溶かします。700～900℃の熱で生み出されるガラス素材の有機的なフォルムへの変化と、箔が自然に変化し、一体化する造形が見事に表現されています。
空間を豊かにするthe”GLASS ART PANEL“として壁掛用と置き型用を制作しました。
Collaborating with Chunichi Stained Art as one and only creative decorative glass company, we wanted to design and creat the Glass Art panel to be set and placed on the wall or on the table to be enjoyed like an beautiful abstract painting.
Chunichi Stained Art has had numerous experiences to work on architecturaland interior decoration projects for large-scale and special-order products.
With outstanding artistic quality and techniques, they are capable to work with from global fashion brands to public and government offices. And they have provided original designs and solutions to meet customers's demands in achieving the standard, durability and uniformity for industrial production.
The “GLASS ART PANEL” is made of clear glasses and silver leaves. The silver leaves sanded between glasses are fired at 700-900℃ temperature and create unique organic forms naturally along with melting glasses. The GLASS ART PANEL is elegantly opulent as a decorative glass and shows strong presence in space.
